Thanks to the HORT cooperative society in Ancona, our students spent a day discovering nature and its secrets. After visiting Cardeto Park, thanks to a stereomicroscope, they were able to see a 3D view of a daisy, a violet, the wing of a butterfly and the eye of a bumblebee, thus learning about nature from another perspective. Our students also discovered all the natural colors that were anciently used to dye clothes, and in particular Guado, a plant that releases the color blue, and they became little dyers:
thanks to this activity, the children learned the importance of preferring products and fabrics treated with natural methods, so as to safeguard their own health and also that of the Planet.
