Even a trip to an amusement park can become a learning opportunity: at Mirabilandia, our children went in search of the "hidden" math inside the amusement park, completing a mystery grid, estimating how long it takes the merry-go-round to make a complete turn, and putting into practice all the knowledge and formulas they learned in school. Thanks to these activities, they reinforced math and geometry concepts (powers, coordinates, magic squares, polygons, angles, times, distances, speeds), stimulated their curiosity by solving puzzles, and improved their spatial orientation skills. By playing, they were able to understand that mathematics accompanies us everywhere and helps us interpret reality.
